Propuesta para mejorar las competencias del personal de enfermería en un código azul

Resumen El código azul es un sistema de alarma que implica el manejo de los pacientes en paro cardio-respiratorio por un grupo entrenado, con funciones previamente asignadas, con lo cual el procedimiento se efectúa en el menor tiempo posible y con coordinación entre todos ellos. El objetivo de este estudio es realizar una propuesta para mejorar las competencias del personal de enfermería en un código azul por el profesional de enfermería del servicio de urgencias en el Hospital General Ernesto Meana San Román, proponiendo un programa de capacitación para desarrollar sus habilidades y destrezas y enriquecer sus conocimientos sobre el manejo del código azul. Se aplicará de inicio un cuestionario donde participará 36 enfermeras del área de urgencias de diferentes turnos para seleccionar temas de acorde a la deficiencias y así ver áreas de oportunidad, se realizara 6 sesiones teórico- práctica en el área de enseñanza con el tema manejo del código azul, al final se entregara al servicio de urgencias un manual de procedimientos jefa de servicio con previas autorizaciones y se propondrá realizar simulacros cada 3 meses en el servicio con el personal capacitado

SUMMARY Te blue conde es an alarm system that involves the management of patients in cardiorespiratory arrest by a trained group, with previously assigned functions, with which the procedure is carried out in the shortest possible time and with coordination between all of them. The objective of this study is to make a proposal to improve the competencies of the nursing staff in a blue code by the nursing professional of the emergency service at the Ernesto Meana San Román General Hospital, proposing a training program to develop their abilities and skills and enrich your knowledge of code blue management. A questionnaire will be applied at the beginning where 36 nurses from the emergency area of different shifts will participate to select topics according to the deficiencies and thus see areas of opportunity, 6 theoretical-practical sessions will be held in the teaching area with the subject of code management blue, at the end a manual of procedures for the head of the service will be delivered to the emergency service with previous authorizations and it will be proposed to carry out drills every 3 months in the service with trained personnel.
